Some days sit on the shoulders.
This is a session for putting them down.
Begin by noticing where you are holding tension.
A jaw, a brow, a pair of shoulders that have been near your ears for hours.
Do not try to fix it yet.
Just find it.
Now breathe in through the nose, unhurried, and let the exhale be long and quiet.
With that exhale, imagine the tension sliding down your arms and out of your fingertips, the way water leaves a tilted glass.
Breathe in again.
And let go again.
Whatever happened today already happened.
You cannot redo it, and you do not have to rehearse it.
The difficult conversation.
The thing that went wrong.
Let them sit outside this room for a moment.
They will still be there if they truly need you.
They usually do not.
Notice your feet, planted.
Notice the air on your face.
You are here, and you are whole, and nothing in this moment requires your defence.
Take one more long breath, and on the exhale, let the day slide off you entirely.
What remains is just you, resting.
